Anniversary in the Schools Webinar En Español

Join students and teachers from around the world to commemorate the 21st anniversary of 9/11 by registering for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s FREE Anniversary in the Schools program. View a film highlighting first-person accounts of the attacks and their aftermath and connect with Museum staff in real-time through an interactive live chat. The 30-minute program will be available on demand beginning Friday, September 9, 2022.

2022 Speakers:

  • Keating Crown was at work on the 100th floor of the South Tower on 9/11. Despite sustaining injuries from the impact of Flight 175, he was one of 18 individuals to safely evacuate from above the impact zone.
  • Regina Wilson, an FDNY firefighter and advocate for diversity within the fire department, responded to the World Trade Center on 9/11 and continued working at the site during the Rescue and Recovery effort.
  • Lt. David Lim, a retired Port Authority Police officer, survived the collapse of the North Tower. His K-9 partner Sirius, was killed on 9/11.
  • Bridget Gormley has dedicated herself to raising awareness for those facing 9/11-related illnesses. Her father, firefighter Billy Gormley, passed away from 9/11-related cancer in 2017.
