Exploring 9/11: The world before and after (may)
New York University professor Brigette Sion talks about memory and methods of commemoration as part of this month's webcast series exploring 9/11.
Sion, an assistant professor of religious studies, has researched memorials and the performance of memory. In this latest installment of the series, Sion's discussion will include comments on the goals of a memorial and its obligation to visitors.
The webcast series is exclusively produced for the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and is hosted by Clifford Chanin, senior program advisor for the 9/11 Memorial Museum. Check our web site each month for a new installment in the series. If you missed April's webcast, find it on The MEMO blog or visit national911memorial.org.
