Annual Charity Race

Runners mid-race along the Hudson River

Ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum has reimagined its annual 5K, an iconic event that historically brings together thousands of people each April in a shared act of remembrance, community, and inspiration. The race is now a four-mile (4M) course in Central Park and a NYRR 9+1 qualifier offering guaranteed, non-complimentary entry to the 2027 TCS New York City Marathon. As always, funds raised help keep the Memorial free and support our educational programs as we strive to ensure the world never forgets.

Benefit Dinner

Each year, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s benefit dinner recognizes the outstanding contributions and achievements of those who have given so much to help our city heal, and to reinforce the organization’s mission to honor the victims and educate future generations.

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum relies on the generosity of its donors and visitors, including corporate members, to ensure that this magnificent and vibrant Museum continues to honor those killed on 9/11 and commemorate the sacrifice, humanity, and bravery displayed on that tragic day and in the months that followed.

The Never Forget Fund

The 9/11 Memorial & Museum preserves the history of that tragic day more than two decades ago, so the over 100 million young people born since 9/11 will never forget how we responded. The Never Forget Fund has helped us reach over 4.5 million students, educators, professional audiences, and community members with our 9/11 Anniversary Digital Learning Experience, on-site workshops, professional development opportunities, and virtual field trips.
