'American Chopper' builder tours WTC site, 9/11 Memorial for Design Inspiration
This month the 9/11 Memorial will be featured on the Discovery Channel’s popular reality series, “American Chopper.” Watch the above trailer for a sneak peek.
On Nov.14 and Nov. 21, the show will focus on Paul Teutul Jr., his motorcycle design and customization firm, Paul Jr. Designs, and the work of creating a World-Trade-Center-rebuilding-themed bike.
Last month, Paul Jr. Designs unveiled this chopper with Mayor Bloomberg, 9/11 Memorial president Joe Daniels, and 9/11 Memorial board member Dan Tishman. Read more here.
To benefit the Memorial, another similarly inspired Paul Jr. Designs motorcycle, valued at $50,000, is being raffled off. Raffle tickets are available through Jan. 20 and can be purchased online, at the 9/11 Memorial Preview Site, 20 Vesey St. and at the 9/11 Memorial Visitor Center, 90 West St.
