Executive Vice President and Deputy Director for Museum Programs Cliff Chanin gave an interview to the podcast “Intelligence Matters” about the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s special exhibition Revealed: The Hunt for Bin Laden.

The podcast, which is hosted by former acting Director of the CIA Michael Morell, features leaders of the U.S. intelligence community as they reflect on issues of national security. In the episode, Chanin discussed the powerful artifacts on view in Revealed and in other areas of the Museum, the important work of the Museum, and the importance of remembering 9/11.

“There’s a young generation 20 years ago, most of them were not born when 9/11 happened. And here they are inheriting a world that, to a very large degree, has been shaped by 9/11,” said Chanin. “The agencies and the military are continuing that mission and need young people to come in because they’re inspired to do so.”
