The Lens: Capturing Life and Events at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum
The Lens: Capturing Life and Events at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum is a photography series devoted to documenting moments big and small that unfold at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
The View: In August 2010, photographer Joe Woolhead captured a swamp white oak tree being lowered onto the 9/11 Memorial plaza. This tree was among the first of more than 400 planted at the site. This week the final trees will be planted, making the total number of trees 416.
