Each year, we recognize our country’s veterans through Salute to Service, a tribute designed to honor all who have served in the military and those who support them. Before, during, and after Veterans Day, the Memorial and Museum offers special benefits and programming - both virtually and on-site - for veterans and veteran organizations. Highlights of our 2021 Salute to Service appear below.
Museum Admission
Free and discounted admission for veterans and their families, as well as family members of active serving military, are available from Thursday, November 11 through Sunday, the 14th. Details and booking information can be found here.
Virtual Tours
Reserve your spot on a free virtual tour, available November 9-14.
Memorial Tributes
The U.S. Air Force Heritage Brass Orchestra will perform a concert on the Memorial on Wednesday at noon. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for clips, or join is in person - this event is open to the public.
Visionaries in Service
The MEMO blog features a series of Q&As with some of our Visionaries in Service, delving into the role 9/11 played in shaping their path to the military.
Community Mondays
On Mondays throughout November, we'll welcome different veteran organizations including Blue Star Families Tri-State Chapter, the Pat Tillman Foundation, and Team RWB.
