Due to the anticipated inclement weather, the Memorial & Museum will be closed Sunday, the 25th, and until 12 p.m. on Monday, the 26th. The 11 terra cotta figures are intended to symbolize how the world stopped what it was doing and turned its gaze towards New York City as it's heart embraced the families of the fallen. The figures are intentionally devoid of any telling characteristics. Their only distinction is that of male or female. On September 11, all were united. Our differences were put aside.
