This video is live performance by singer/songwriter Mary Fahl (Sony Classical) of "Dawning of the Day", a song she wrote for the Focus Features film, "The Guys" starring Anthony LaPaglia and Sigourney Weaver. Fahl re-wrote the lyrics of this old Celtic ballad to tell the story of the firefighters who lost their lives on 911. Her lyrics were intended to tell their story, but sound as if they had been written 300 years ago. The song was also recorded by the Irish tenor, Ronan Tynan who performed the song at the re-dedication of 7 World Trade Center.
