THIS HALLOWED GROUND
A TRILOGY:
BATTLEFIELD, CEMETERY,
AND A MEMORIAL OF HEROES

Out of the sky, it happened when cowards trespassed
the two World Trade towers of New York
and loved ones fought for their lives
as if on a battlefield
a battlefield site chosen by those less than human
the legacy our heroes left
becomes a daily reminder
of life captured from us.
Our heroes fight lies within our hearts
for them we continue to pray
forever and ever and ever….
