This is a narrative/lyrical poem of 22 strophes (stanzas) describing the author's attempt to honor the heroism witnessed in New York during the 9/11 attacks. The poem also includes a brief description of the setting on that day, the attacks themselves and the extraordinary reaction by "the icons of the hour."
