This image is a 20x30 metal print. It depicts firefighters George Johnson, Dan McWilliams and Billy Eisengrein raise a flag at ground zero in New York after the terror attacks on September 11, 2001. The scene was immortalized by photographer Thomas E. Franklin. This image was created by collecting and processing all known images of the victims of 911 at the World Trade Center. 2585 images were processed and ultimately resulted in 14024 individual tiles to create the final image.
