FBI Director Christopher Wray Explains How Counterterrorism Has Evolved Since 9/11
FBI Director Christopher Wray visited the 9/11 Memorial Museum on Monday night and addressed how the agency responded immediately after 9/11 and how the FBI has evolved in the 16 years since the attack.
In a wide-ranging talk, Wray discussed how the agency deals with the sheer volume of intelligence it receives, the ways terrorists use social media and how the FBI has undergone a "paradigm shift" since the attacks.

“We kept asking ourselves, over and over and over again, ‘What could we have done better? What should we have done better?'" Wray said. "We were, I think it’s fair to say, in disbelief. We were disoriented. We were angry. We were deeply hurt, and gravely damaged. But we did what Americans do best, which is, we mourned our lost, we nursed our wounds, and then we stood up, together, and we faced the new day, grimly, but fiercely determined to prevent an atrocity like that from happening again"
