9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk: Sponsor a Team

Each April, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K gathers thousands of runners and walkers in a shared act of remembrance, community, and inspiration. Participants on the three-mile race route follow a similar path to that which first responders and rescue and recovery workers took on their way to Ground Zero on 9/11 and in the days, weeks, and months afterward. This race remembers those killed on 9/11 and honors the service of those who bravely stepped in to help our city recover and rebuild.

Learn more about how you can sponsor a team or visit our 5K page to learn more about the race.
