Museum Film to Examine 9/11’s Global Impact
The 9/11 Memorial Museum will screen the film “Facing Crisis: A Changed World” daily at the bottom of the hour starting on Monday, April 6 in the Museum auditorium. “Facing Crisis: America Under Attack” will continue playing in the auditorium at the top of each hour.
In the film, world leaders examine 9/11’s impact on global communities. It includes original interviews with President George W. Bush, British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, among others.
While “America Under Attack” largely focuses on the events of 9/11 itself from the perspective of U.S. leaders in New York and Washington, D.C., “A Changed World” takes a longer view of how 9/11 shaped international politics and relations through the perspectives of world leaders.
The films will be screened Sunday though Thursday starting at 9:30 a.m. with final screening at 6:30 p.m., and Friday and Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the last screening at 7:30 p.m.
