Museum Installation Featured Clue on Jeopardy!
The 9/11 Memorial and Museum was a featured Jeopardy! clue during its Monday, March 7 episode. Part of the category "Monuments," the clue included a video of game show host Alex Trebek at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. The quote installation, created out of recovered World Trade Center steel by artist Tom Joyce, is vibrantly featured while Trebek prompted contestants with the clue: "No day shall erase you from the memory of time is from this work by Virgil about the legendary founder of what would become Rome." Contestant Natasha answered correctly, "What is the Aeneid?" This is not the first time the organization has been featured on Jeopardy! Last January, the 9/11 Memorial and Museum and the events before and after September 11, 2001 was included as a category.
