As part of Archtober, Architecture and Design Month in New York City, the principal architects of the 9/11 Memorial, the Flight 93 National Memorial near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Virginia, reflect on the relationship between architecture and remembrance, as well as the significance of place and public memory.
