In the days and months after 9/11, then–Boston Globe reporter Mitchell Zuckoff wrote a series of pieces about victims of the attacks and their families. His abiding commitment to the human story of that day has culminated in the publication of his book, Fall and Rise: The Story of 9/11, which drew inspiration from the 9/11 Memorial Museum’s collection and from his interviews with survivors and victims’ familiesZuckoff discusses his experience reporting on 9/11 and the process of writing Fall and Rise.
