Al-Qaeda continues to pose a significant threat to American security. Overshadowed by ISIS in recent years, al-Qaeda remains active, adapting their operations and priorities in the Middle East. Norwegian scholar Anne Stenersen, Senior Fellow at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment, examines al-Qaeda’s methods over the last 30 years and discusses the future of this terrorist group.
