Two Years Later At Ground Zero
September 11, 2003

It is with anguish that they grieve
For lost souls that they believe,
Were sent to immortality
For reasons they cannot conceive.

Their loved ones were the innocent
Who on that day were not aware,
Of the evil that lurked in lurid minds
To commit an act beyond compare.

The world was shocked
And time stood still,
It was once again reminded
Of mans evil capacity to kill.

Time and space has not yet healed
The psyche of those left behind,
I would like to think their faith and hope
In the years ahead will soothe their minds.
