Foot Prints of Ground Zero is a portrait of the Canadian artist along with a count of his foot steps. The count pertains to every hundred steps during my journey around Ground Zero. At the beginning of the journey he removed his shoes and socks and walked foot to foot around the perimeter of the 16 acres. The portraits comes after many moving experiences from the 2004 memorial. The book in the portrait contains writings of words that he heard during the 911 memorial. The number on the portrait represents the total number of steps taken during this journey, 5476 steps. Along with this journey, he met an incredible invididual among many other wonderful people. It was with his Nikon that he captured some very spiritual images unseen by human eyes. This was my journey.
