Description

My name is Mickey Mack, I'm a singer/songwriter from Ireland. While flying over Pittsburg on my way from New York to Orlando on vacation, I realized that this was where Mr. Todd Beamer said these immortal words, "Let's Roll". As I had deep feelings for your great nation and much respect for this brave hero, I was very moved when I realized that I was in that general area and this song began to form in my head. By the time I had reached Orlando, I had completed the song.

Out of respect for the people involved, I never brought it into the public domain until I sang the song to some New York firemen in my small pub in the west of Ireland. They loved the song and encouraged me to record it and to send them copies. I recorded the song in the winter of 2008 and I now offer it to you as a mark of respect to those who died on that sad day.
