"Fragile World"...For this work I wove together hundreds of hand blown eggs with fishing line. At the bottom they are tea stained and cracked. The symbol of birth, rebirth, and renewal. Hollowed out the egg is fragile and vulnerable. This piece represents all that resonates in the air since September 11th. Our home, the economy, the earth, our lives, all feel very fragile.
