This photo was taken after the first bombs were dropped on Afghanistan shortly after 9/11. It shows one of the first known casualties of the bombing - an Afghan villager with the rest of the village behind.
Despite the anger and outrage over the senseless killing of 3000 innocents in NYC, DC and Pennsylvania, I never felt that killing even one innocent life in Iraq was justified in retaliation.
