Description

This is the Cross at Ground Zero, captured on site, with the arc-welded inscriptions rendered by various iron-workers glowing in the late afternoon sun.

On an enlarged version, one can see, at the epicenter of the Cross, "May God forgive thier evil." The word "their" is misspelled, indicating this sentiment wasn't expressed by a theologian or professor of ethics, but an iron-worker whose spirit rose above, and could not be crushed, by a most horrendous act of terror.
