One doesn't ever forget such a horrific occurrence as the attacks on the Trade Towers. Not only do I think about it on each anniversary, but also when I am downtown and look to the sky expecting to see those two beacons only to remember what happened. With memories of September 11 still fresh, I made Still Missing. The silver sew-ons reminded me of the architecture of the towers, so I created this simple lament, with the towers floating against a blue sky background, using them. Still Missing, the title, refers to the fact that it's still hard to believe the towers are gone, along with so many innocent victims.
