The top of the Star, as well as the head of the eagle, would be pointed due north. The center would be left open to accommodate the towers surrounded by the Remembrances of the first responders. The towers are two 50-foot squares made from the rubble of the buildings and are spaced 30 feet apart. The first responders would be in two rows and could be grouped together as companies, precincts or divisions. The outer lines would need breaks in them to accommodate visitors. Koening
