In addition to my painting 9-11 FOREVER, I would like to also present a small portfolio overview of my work done since my college days in the 1970's to the present.

This painting was done as part inspiration from the many years I've spent visiting Hawaii and being very influenced by it's tropical beauty but also by the Peter Jackson movie "King Kong", which in my opinion was also very much a tribute to 9-11.

I used a technique with this painting that I had not used before. I used heaping amounts of acrylic paint on the canvas to give it the look and texture of oil paint. Of course you don't notice it looking at it on a computer screen, but up close the texture is really interesting and the moon actually does glow in the dark.
