The Towers and the Wire Walker, is inspired by Mordecai Gerstein's book, The Man Who Walked Between the Towers, and tells the story of the artist Philippe Petit, who on August 7, 1974 walked on a wire in between the World Trade Towers, 110 stories above the ground.
