Due to the anticipated inclement weather, the Memorial & Museum will be closed Sunday, the 25th, and until 12 p.m. on Monday, the 26th. We will accommodate all requests to reschedule the date or time of your visit, or process a refund if preferred. Please contact reservations@911memorial.org for assistance.
By September 13, 2001, the whole downtown area was cordoned off from the public as the city got organized to look for survivors and begin cleaning up the site. This Greenwich Street Barrier was temporary as it became a main trucking route for access to the site.
