Description

I recently read the book; "Messages" by Bonnie McEneaney. I painted this painting soon after.
At the time of 9/11 I was heavily pregnant and really tried not to think about what had just happened. My husband was a volunteer at the site, he and other construction workers worked around the clock to rescue trapped people. I couldn't take photo's, I couldn't create any art, it was all so raw.
Now nearly 10 years later my husband is working on the Memorial Museum. It is a hard job. The schedule is brutal, the pressure is intense.
I hope I get the opportunity to donate my "Thoughts" painting to the museum. It really should hang there.
