This sculpture is placed in Bethlehem, PA by request of Mayor John Callahan and an agreement between San the artist and the Mayor. . This is the first of the Master Sculpture Series named Project 11up with a total of only 17 sculptures being placed around the country made out of pieces of the slurry wall that surrounded the site of 9/11 in New York City.

This is a 10 year anniversary piece. San has engraved binary code which translates into NY NY on each side of the smaller block sitting in between the V. Binary code for DC and PA are engraved on both sides of the V. San chose the use of binary code to show a more subtle look at the three sites represented and the binary code will be able to be recognized over the test of time.

All of these sculptures will be strategically placed around the US for most Americans cannot make the long journey to either NY, PA or DC. This would bring a part of history closer to all.
