Description

I moved to my NYC area apartment on Sept. 10, 2001. A couple of years later there was a gripping article in Rolling Stone Magazine called "Somewhere Over Pennsylvania" outlining all the phone calls that came from flight 93. One woman was frustrated that her husband had to hang up 3 times without saying "I love you." I wanted to tell her that everytime he dialed her number he was saying just that. I wanted to avoid schmaltz or patriotism, so I wrote the song from the perspective of the cell phone satellite getting the calls. I never thought I would touch on the topic of September 11th, but it is now my favorite song of mine. I hope it finds it's way to useful places.
