Description

This is a conventional film photograph from the original negative of the south tower shot in 1995 from the bottom of a staircase of the Deutsche bank building. I was fortunate to have a very wide angle lens on the camera to be able to capture the entire mezzanine without cropping. Only after the tragic day did I fully appreciate the "teardrop" framing of the composition and when people see this image they invariably are stunned by it. It is my tribute.
