Description

The "One Voice" Album began as a dream that Producer/songwriter awoke with one week after September 11th, 2001. The song chorus of "This Day" was going over and over in her head.

Tonya S. Holly told her husband, producer/ guitar player, Kelvin Holly that she had an idea.

Two days later over 30 songwriters attended a songwriting gathering at the Holly's house. Three new songs came out of that day.

Within the next few weeks, word spread of the album and it became a five month work of the heart.

The song "This Day" was recorded at Braly Municipal Stadium in Florence Alabama with nearly one thousand voices on the live recording including firefighters, policemen, and citizens of all ages. It was a moving experience.

The album's completion was kicked off with a three hour concert, featuring many of the songs on the album. The night was dedicated to the heroes of September 11th and the War in Afghanistan. The parents of Mike Spann attended the concert as he was honored by the performers.

The album will take you on a journey from "That Day" to "This Day." The double CD set has two sub titles. CD one is entitled "One Voice", In Memory and Dedication. CD two is "One Voice", Now and Forever.

This is the first of it's kind. It is our tribute and our journey as we learned to cope with the changes our nation has faced. Listen and be moved...it has touched us all.
