I had been in a long period of creating no new work and was thinking about the coming anniversary of September 11. I decided to put a new design wall up in my house and see if a new blank space would help. This is the quilt that developed on that space, followed by several others.

All change seems to come in waves through us, whether joy or grief. The transitions move and vary in intensity and leave a lingering effect. Nature shows us though that life eventually returns, no matter the devastation.
