Description

This painting commemorates two events that were meaningful to the rescue and cleanup crews. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a huge swarm of butterflies appeared - they fluttered wildly amongst the crew, almost seemingly to be in a state of dance. It was clear to those present, that they were being visited and comforted by the lost souls they were searching for. The Beam Cross became a symbol of strength and helped workers through that time.

Prints of this image were given to the Fire Chiefs, firemen, and parents of lost firemen.
