Description

Man of the fire.
Some days before the attacks, I walked along the East River. Beside the river danced a buddhism monk in his safra orange cape. Melodic strong music came out of his cd-player. Graceful set the dancer the music in pliant and aggility movements. It was shortly before the sunset and the scene was diving in a red shining light. The monk had nothing to do with the attacks. But after all, his cape look like the fireballs of the detonations of the airplanes, which flew into the World Trade Center towers. So it became a cape out of fire and his movements are like a fire dance. The dancer is the man of the fire in this painting series.
