This piece contains the poem written September 12, 2001, the day after the attacks. The skyline photograph was taken from the front of the Staten Island Ferry in July of 2001. The sun was setting on lower Manhattan and the picture was a representation of how beautiful the city was while being covered with all of the sky's colors.
