Patriot Day Concert 2011

Since 2003, students in Louisburg, Kansas have honored the victims of September 11th as well as recognizing and thanking their local heroes through song in their annual Patriot Day concert. The Louisburg music teachers decided that 2011 needed to be even more so because it was the 10-year anniversary of that tragic day.

Joining together in one setting, the entire Louisburg district carried on the tradition of remembrance and recognition with each school represented in music. The performance was prepared and led by music staff Alison Moore, Terri Hamby, John Cisetti, Dean Davison, Jason Sickel, Barbara York, and Emilia Vaca. September 9, 2011 is the first time the entire district has been photographed together.
