The Echo 11 sculpture is the MOST SIGNIFICANT OF THE ENTIRE COLLECTION OF THE CONCRETE SLURRY WALL SCULPTURES. it is the only piece we saved of all the blocks that has a metal anchor/tieback in it. When all the other blocks from the slurry wall were removed to make room for the new PATH subway station, they were sent out and recycled. The first ones ground up were the blocks with all the anchor tiebacks in them for the metal was in demand. So, therefore, to of saved one of the blocks with the anchor in it for this project is paramount.
