So Many People Gone
(Khalid Reza)

I’ve seen so many people died in the river,
seen people died for nothing in the war,
many people gone in Tsunami and other disaster,
but never seen innocent people died in the Twin Towers.

I’ve seen people died in the plane and in thunder,
seen people died in diseases, no wonder,
many people died terribly in merciless fire,
but never seen innocent people died in the Twin Towers.

I’ve seen people died in the car,
seen whole family died together,
many died; in the sky, snow, sea and on the harbor,
but never seen innocent people died in the Twin Towers.

Man, women, brothers and sisters,
workers, fireman, police, milliners, and bankers,
gone from this world with terrible fear,
but never seen innocent people died in the Twin Towers.

I’m thinking now what I should do for them to remember,
not only by making statues, posters, meetings, flowers, or seminars,
must pray for them each moment for their souls, give respect & honor,
and give strength to their families, who’re the ultimate sufferer.
