Description

The Elegy prints, numbers 1-7, were executed over a period of two and a half years. They were printed at the Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2017. The work was a collaborative effort between the artist, Master Printer Bandon Gunn, and Assistant, Amanda Morris. Each print is a numbered, archival pigment print with chine collé applique, printed in an edition of six on an Epson SC-P9000 printer with the chine collé elements embossed onto the base image by running through a lithography press. The base image was printed on Hahnemuhle Etching paper (inkjet). Chine collé elements were printed on a variety of papers, Moab Slickrock, Nizodo Kozo, and Gampi.
