Description

I'VE GOT TO GO FIX MY FLAGS is a short film by Peter Josyph, shot during the filming of his award-winning feature LIBERTY STREET: ALIVE AT GROUND ZERO and the writing of LIBERTY STREET: ENCOUNTERS AT GROUND ZERO. It features contractor Donavin Gratz on the rooftop of 114 Liberty Street overlooking Ground Zero as work was progressing on the site. Interspersed with scenes of the site and the Ground Zero neighborhood, we watch Donavin in the simple task of untangling two American flags projecting from one of the buildings closest to the World Trade Center on one of the oldest streets in the nation.
