I was asked to submit a profile to the 911 Memorial on "amernica". "amernica" is a mural that was created in response to the attacks on America September 11, 2001. Sand Creek High School in Colorado Springs produced this 8'x16' mural with over 2000 students and community members putting a brushstroke to it. It was delivered in May 2002 to St. Paul's Cathedral and dedicated to the victims and heroes of 911. "amernica" was taken into the permanent collection of the New York Historical Society. It was one of 50 works selected in 2006 to be displayed on the 5th anniversary of 911.
