My illustration for the 9/11 commemoration is a French point of view of what happened twenty years ago. I drew the towers silhouette’s at the surface of the water of Hudson River. At the top of the drawing, there’s Paris (with the Eiffel Tower). The towers’ shadows can be seen upon water by looking at east or from standing up in the sky and with a point of view from the ground. The goal is to create a kind of visual confusion. I added the silhouette of a ship at sea which looks like Normandie (the liner in the French ocean from the thirties which where often docked at Pier 88).
