Through this poster I wanted to translate the past and the present of the place : 20 years later.
The view from above and the shadows of the planes refer to the past and the tragedy of September 11, 2001.
The cartography represents the actual place with the two basins of the memorial.
The two red pictograms « we are here » show that we are all united in the memorial. The choice of cartographic representation illustrates the changes 20 years later : architecture changed, technology and people changed too. The pictograms at the bottom left 9/11 memorial, homage, compassion and memory explain to the public very quickly the tragedy. Thus, this poster touches all the public.
