For the 20 years of the World Trade Center attack, I sought to emphasize the commemorative aspect of the event. I sought to represent with simple shapes and sober colors, the most identifiable elements of this drama (here the plane and one of the two Twin Towers) in order to offer a simple understanding and a less brutal apprehension of this production. In addition to the shapes I used, I played on the layout of the graphic and typographical elements. I tried to invite people to understand all the subtleties, since according to me, the imagination and the understanding of others contribute to memories.
Even a young audience who was not familiar with this event must be able to recognize it and be able to pay tribute to the victims.
