On-Site Field Trips
We offer age-appropriate tours led by Education staff inside the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. This page features information about available tours, reservations, and important policies.
Field Trips are FREE for New York City schools. This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and with additional support from the RBC Foundation USA.
Reservations for fall programs are now open. Complete a booking request form to schedule your on-site field trip.
Note that this form serves as a request, not a confirmation. All submissions are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.

$150 per program, which includes up to 30 students and five chaperones for a total of no more than 35 individuals. At this time, we are unable to accommodate groups of more than 35.

Tickets are nonrefundable, and any lateness will result in a shortened program. In cases of extreme lateness, your program may be cancelled. If you need to make changes or updates to your reservation, the Group Sales Department can be reached Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST, at groups@911memorial.org or at (212) 266-5200.
We require that students and chaperones conduct themselves appropriately in the Museum. Failure to do so may result in dismissal from the building.
Please be reminded that the Memorial and Museum are places of remembrance and quiet reflection. We ask that all visitors respect this place made sacred through tragic loss.
In addition to maintaining proper decorum, please follow the rules below when participating in our student workshops:
- Do not touch objects unless invited to do so by our educators.
- Turn off and stow all cell phones.
- Refrain from photography unless invited to do so by our educators.
- In order to ensure everyone’s safety, please stay with an educator at all times.
