Virtual Field Trips

New this fall, join us online as we take your class on live, interactive tours of the 9/11 Memorial & Museum. These age-appropriate tours are led daily by Education staff via Zoom and offer time for questions throughout. This page features information about available tours, reservations, schedules, and additional information.

Reservations for virtual field trips are now available. See below for information on our two offerings. Book your Virtual Museum School Tour or Virtual Memorial School Tour using our online portal. This portal allows users to view available dates and times and select tours for groups up to 100 students and teachers participating at the same time.  

To book multiple classes into tour slots on different dates/times, please contact groups@911memorial.org. You will not be able to do so online.

Please note that students from other schools may also be booked on your tour.

In this 45-minute live tour, explore artifacts and exhibitions inside the Museum to understand what happened on 9/11 and in its aftermath, and to consider the ongoing repercussions of the attacks.

Program offered at the following times through December 22:

Mondays: 1 p.m. ET

Tuesdays – Thursdays: 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET

Fridays: 10 a.m. ET

You are responsible for reporting to your tour at the correct date and time. Please note all tour times are listed in eastern time, so you may need to adjust based on your location.

In this 35-minute live tour, take in panoramic views of the rebuilt World Trade Center to discover the meaning behind the 9/11 Memorial, learn about what happened on 9/11, and consider how people selflessly responded in the aftermath of the attacks.

Program offered at the following times through December 18*:

Mondays: 10 a.m. ET

Fridays: 1 p.m. ET

*Subject to rescheduling due to inclement weather.

You are responsible for reporting to your tour at the correct date and time. Please note all tour times are eastern standard time, so you may need to adjust based on your location.

1-10 participants: $75

11-50 participants: $150

51-100 participants: $225

Tours are priced according to how many students and teachers are participating, regardless of whether they are learning at school or remotely.

For example: 

30 students and 1 teacher watching together at school: $150

30 students and 1 teacher watching individually at home: $150

15 students and 1 teacher watching at school, 15 watching individually at home: $150

Given our extremely limited staffing during the pandemic, all payments must be made via credit card during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.
